Like the rest of his city, little is known to the outside world about this King of Paz. He claims to have lived for thousands of years, long past the lifespan of Humans. Nonetheless, his people adore him, as he has improved their comfort, security, and general well being as long as any of them have lived.
But beneath his eyes lies exhaustion. Unlike what his outward demeanor might suggest he is lonely, as living beyond any lover became to painful to bear. Instead, he threw himself into his work, helping his teams of gnomish inventors devise all manners of tools, enchanted items, and eventually weapons using whatever raw materials he could import from the world above.
After catching the attention of warring kingdoms, Paz became the go-to for all things weapons of war. Blades, armors, and field weapons like ballistas and cannons made the kingdom substantially wealthy, a wealth Decx used to further pamper his people. And while this has left them out of the fray of the politics of the world, it left him feeling dirty, used to commit atrocities of violence secondhand through his very creations.
Regardless, he still enjoyed time with his people, visitors, and dignitaries from across the globe. Some suggest he has far more interest in global politics than he admits. And while he feigns excitement, even his faithful assistant Sufuma cannot help but notice his jubilant response when notifying him when the party arrives.
