I do enthusiastically thank you for viewing my page, and with hopes, buying a copy of my book. You, the reader, are the last part of this. I have had these characters in my heart for the longest time, and I am beyond excited to show you the adventure they are set upon.
This story, not just the first volume, started out as a love letter to my old friends and the gaming we used to do and became a much, much bigger tale, one that while I was writing them surprised even me the direction it went.
Now I envision this as a bedtime story, or a storybook, just seven larger acts of it, a greater story about the internal challenges one faces even in the greatest of circumstances of peril. Not just for the primary characters, but those that surround them, and how those changes alter the course of their futures.
It is my very biggest hope that those who embark on this adventure with these people do love the story. That and the particular focus of how important it is to remember heroes are people. Their emotional journey is very much a part of their legendary courage, even if history would never record it, much like people in our own real world.
This journey I’ve started, it can only get better. And if you get it, really get what I’m going for on this first piece of the puzzle, the best thing you can do is talk about it with people. I advertise, yes, but its costly and it goes between hundreds of millions of others. We’ve filtered ads out for the most part unless its crazy, that’s why a lot of them are so crazy.
But word of mouth, that’s a value we’ve lost in modernity. An ad can’t tell you how it felt, and you know it was true. You telling your friend who may enjoy it why you did, and the potential you see, is far more valuable, not just to me, but to us, ads take humanity out of it. Word of mouth puts it back in. I love this series, these characters, and the themes I didn’t even know I would put in here. Its my wish to find others who can see it too.
No, this does not all unfold in the first installment, or in the second. Like any good experience, it grows, it becomes more than it looks to be at its origin. And believe me, there is more to the entire tale, this is only the beginning. Come with me…no, go with them, Andoria needs your help, and only by seeing the story through will She ever truly be saved.
